I added new lights this weekend. Went from 60 to 260 watts. Seeing a lot of things "in a different light" (i know that was bad) Anyway my Niger Trigger is about 4 inches and I can see him so much better now. I have noticed his "skin" kind of looks like a plucked chicken.
is this normal?

good one... [ Seeing a lot of things "in a different light" ] just wondering how long you leave on the lights???? it may be a reaction from it.... what type did you get? how are the water conditions? any other sick fish in your tank??

I have the actinic come on at 11am the rest at 12pm. day glow off at 9pm actinic off at 10pm. You think thats too much? No other symptoms from any other inhabitants and the N.T. is acting as normal as he always did. My feather duster is going bonkers. he bent down at a 45 deg angle away from the lights. If he doesnt move himself I'll help him along.
