Niger Trigger question...

I've had my Niger Trigger since it was about 2 inches long. Very tiny. It's now about 5-6.
For about 2 months now it has had this orange / dark yellow discoloration in the corners / sides of it's mouth.
Think of this as the front view of the Niger opening it's mouth.

So my question is...is this some sort of infection? Water checks out fine.
Nitrates 5
Nitrites 0
PH is 8.2 (little low) (fish, shrimp, crab only in the tank)
ALK 300
So I'm pretty sure it's not stress...all my other fish are perfectly fine.
I feed clams, squid, mysis, krill, freeze dried krill, and raw shrimp. With Garlic guard and vita-chem altering every other day.
Could it be the vita-chem leaving stains on his around his mouth?
Any ideas?
Sorry about not having an actual picture but I have a bad camera and the pics don't really show what I'm talking about.

When nigers get bigger, their teeth turn red. They are sometimes called dracula or redtooth triggers. Maybe this is the beginning of the color change?

I think I will try again later today when he wakes up. He's locked up in the sand under some rock right now.
It's in the same area as that pic however seems more orange in color and seems to be wrapping itself around the outside of it's lips so to speak...

No I wouldn't say it's like that at all. That looks exactly like teeth. Mine just looks like it's wearing lipstick in the corners. Thanks for trying though.
Going to try and get a better pic tomorrow hopefully borrowing a friends camera.

Ditch my awesome shrimp, roughly 100 hermit crabs, worry about my clams and peaceful tankmates? They're cool but not THAT cool ;)
If I had a large fish only tank -- totally tangs and triggers.

Its not teeth, Its the color of their mouth on the corners. Its prefectly fine. The teeth come in from the top like to daggers and they are red. Your fish is 100% perfectly normal.
