Niger Trigger w/ Blue-line?

I'm preparing to set up my 125 and originally intended to house my 4" Niger Trigger in it. I then bought a ~2" Blue Line for another tank. Fish personalities aside, would it be unheard of to house them together in the 125?
My Niger is really docile and the blue line (currently in QT) was kept with much smaller, peaceful fish at the LFS without problem.
I'm well aware that no one could know the outcome until it's attempted. I've heard that they also go nuts when they get larger. Still, is it an obviously reckless mistake to mix them?

Anything is iffy with a blue-line. But a niger will work as well as any other fish I guess.

It would only be reckless if you don't have plans if the attempt does not pan out. It's probably a 50-50 if it will work long term, but with the fish being so small, any aggression is going to be rather limited, and they certainly aren't going to kill one another in a day's time, so you'll have plenty of leeway to separate them if need be.
