Niger Trigger

Hi,
I got a niger trigger in my 75g tank. I've isolated him within the main tank so that I can add some peppermint shrimps. He's been isolated for 3 days now...do you think this is enough time to prevent him from eating my peppermint shrimps?
He has never messed with my cleaner shrimps or my fire shrimp. Any info would help!

Keeping any shrimps with triggers is a gamble. Because he's not bothered any yet, is no guarantee he won't at some point. My bet is that the peppermints will be a light snack for the trigger.
