Night time colors

Now THAT is cool!!! I haven't seen that color before. I don't have a niger, but I have watched them for hours at the lfs's and aquariums. I love them because they are graceful and too cute when they are little.
Isn't it amazing the colors triggers turn? I am in awe every day with ours. The Pinktail turns most often and the most colors. The Undy does a little, mostly around her eyes, the black mask. The Picasso rarely changes, he's the one that doesn't pay any attention to the other two, in his own little Picasso World.
And on the subject of Niger Triggers, we were watching a special on the Water Channel/R&R Channel. "Divers Down" they were in Tobago with jelly fish, but as they panned the expanse, there was this HUGE Niger, the thing must have been about a foot.
BEAUTIFUL colors on your fish, now you'll be staring at the tank for hours to see WHY he did that, huh? :notsure:
Thanks for sharing................Peace

probably night time coloration like you said but my yellow tang gets a giant black spot right above his lateral line so its probably just natrual but that still looks pretty awesome

My camera has been on the fritz every since my 2.5 year old got ahold of it
So it actually turned on for me the other night; saw the big guys outline in the dark and took a couple pics. I've seen him change a handful of colors, but never like this.

i know it not on subject but if you are going to talk about fish changing color you must mention the foxface rabbit fish

I wasn't talking about fish in general, just my Niger Triggerfish and the strange peach colors on his fins. The thread wasn't about fish changing color???
