anyone have a nikon coolpix?
i cant seem to get good quality pics with this cam i had a sony cybershot s500 and that one was really good but i cant seem do do it with this camera
any tips or help?

my dad has that camera and i used it before i got mine, it sux for tank shots, u cant get it clear

All of my pics that I have posted are from a Coolpix 4600, I know its hard to get a good shot sometimes. If you use the LCD screen to determine focus instead of the green dot you will have better results. For close ups are you using the macro mode, the setting with the flower. I am looking to purchase a new camera I just have not made the decision yet, so many to choose from :thinking: ...

yeah im using the macro setting ive just been randomly taking pictures but they dont even come out clearly(for close up)
the focus isnt even that good like the sony on this one it focus for a second and then its back to blury as the sony focus stays focused.....

If your having trouble focusing try zooming out just a bit and it should come into focus...

sometimes a digi will focus on the glass. Just try diff. distances and focuses you will get it. I bought a Sony H2 and its not even perfect. Goodluck! This is the best pic i ever took.
