Nikon D100

I am considering the purchase of the Nikon D100, have been a Nikon user for years including the F5 for the past 2 years or so. Some basic questions:
1) I have read that the exposures are slightly on the underexposed side, and that the in camera sharpening leaves the photos a little soft, does anyone have an issue with these points.
2) Any lens recommendations, currently have the Nikon 28-105mm and the 70-300mm. Was considering the 105mm macro as an add on, does anyone have experience with that lens?
3) I see that the D2h should be in the stores soon. I don't realy see an advantage for the $$$ over the D100 unless you need high speed for sports photography, am I missing something?
Any input and comments would be helpful.

The best info will be found on Nikon D100 forums or www.dpreview.com but, all that is said is usually true. The images do come out underexposed and a little soft. The have fixes for this though in firmware updates that you can download.
Rememer the magnification factor- All of your lenses will be multiplied by 1.5 on a digital body. 28mm becomes a not-so-wide 42mm. I would recommend getting a sigma 15-30 for wide angle (or a Nikon 12-24 if ya got the cash). My favorite lens to use right now is a Nikon 24-85.......it's similar to your 28-105 (has the same macro ratio-1:2) but, you gain a little more light.........it's an f/2.8-f/4.
I have the 105 Micro and I love it but, I can tell you that I honestly use my 60mm micro and 200mm micro a lot more.
The D2H is a sports camera.......the D100 will produce better images for printing.
Check out www.ryebread.smugmug.com for a few photos i've taken with my D100.
