My tank is 45 gal with 320 watt VHO lighting, about 17.5 deep with sand. I have a white with purple tip Sedae anemone, just added 3 days ago. My Nitrate levels are at 20ppm, is this normal aftering adding an anemone. He is eating good, I give him a small piece of cooked shrimp, but he has deflated. I have done water changes, what esle should i do? Or is this normal at first? Any Info, Thanks.

I am very new to this so advice i cant give. It sounds like i have the same anemone and when i feed him he did the same thing (curled all up) I think that is how they eat. As far as levels I thought my nitrate was to high at 10. I related mine to adding live rock, clown and feather duster at the same time.( very bad never do this-I learn the hard way). I do know from reading alot of the forums here that one of the professionals in here will ask for all your other levels too. I hope that helps till one of the more experienced answers.
