Nitrate reducers

Can anyone recommend a brand of Nitrate reducer. I see them on the shelf at the pet store but am unsure which one to use....or should I use.....do they even work and are they harmfull to the tank life???

It's far better to determine the cause of high nitrates. What are the specs of your tank? Type of filtration? Type of substrate? LR or no LR? How much of a bio-load?
Water changes will bring your nitrates down, but if they're continually high, you should find the source rather than trying to put a quick fix in the tank.

Bek. I recommend plant life to reduce or eliminate your nitrAtes. I do not recommend or trust nitrAte or phosphate spounges or filters
