what is the best way to get nitrate levels down.
seem to be reading about 30 ppm..........
its a 72gal. Nitrites and Amonia are 0 ppm
so
feed lass
water change
do you have
any other ideas.

:notsure: I disagree. For hardy fish that statement is probably true. However for sensitive fish (e.g. tangs) and other creatures such as corals, that is way to high. I am trying to lower my own nitrates below my current reading of 25.
Some proven ways to lower nitrates are 1) water changes, 2) refugium (either with macroalgae or xenia), 3)deep sand bed, 4)decreasing overfeeding, 5) decreasing overstocking, and 6)nitrate reducing filters.
