Should I be worried? I'm at the end of a cycle, but my darn Nitrites hover just above zero.

hey, what's a Bumble Bee Snail? first time i heard of them...
don't know if you should be worried or not, if you're still cycling then i'd say no? I do know the Nitrites in our tank are at zero.

I would not worry about it. High nitrates at the end of a cycle is normal although some like myself do not get a nitrate spike.

LFS said to do a 20% h20 change. He also said that Tucson Water is okay for saltwater tanks. Hmmmmm.

Stop feeding so much, and maybe use a protein skimmer + charcoal or chemi-pure if you don't.

Yes, unfortunately I did cycle with my fish. It was long hard work. My 20 was overstocked and I had to either give them up or work my butt off to keep them alive in a new larger cycling tank. I used Natures Ocean Sand and used cured LR. No Deaths. I would never recommend doing it though.
A bumble bee snail is a small round snail which is black and yellow and resembles a bumble bee.
I did a 15 gal water change and I agree... overfeeding is a problem for me. I try to keep reducing it. Darn guys look at me like I'm a creep and they are starving to death. I'm learning though. I don't want to hurt them.
