No foam from the seaclone

The skimmer's been running about 5 days now and still not even a hint of foam. The lfs I got it from used them on all thier tanks and looked like they worked real well. I'm pretty sure I got it set up right. The water level is just below the cup and it's not spitting out excessive amounts of bubbles back into the tank. Any ideas as to how long it'll take or what not?

I've seen these skimmers work before, although I've never actually owned or used one.
How long has your tank been set up ?
What size/type fish and how many do you have in this tank ?
May not be much to skim yet if a newer tank with little load.

Sell that one and buy a better skimmer.

The tanks been up about 2 months. I've got 2 hermits, 2 snails, 3 stars, an angel about 2.25", clown 1", strawberry dottyback 1.5", and yellow watchman goby 1.5". Started with 3" of cc and LS. Just added 25# of LR 2 days ago.
I chose this one since it seemed to work on thier tanks and I need the small hang on type unless I abandon one of the filters hanging off the back.

Well I still don't know why your skimmer is not producing as much foam as your lfs skimmers do, but you still have a young tank.
There may not be much to skim yet.
