No Foam Since Changing filter set up

I have been running a large HOB power filter & 2 H.O.T. 250 mags w/ a skilter 400 on my 55gl FOWL,. With that set up I would get 1/4 container of skimmate every 2 weeks. 2-3 weeks ago I removed all but the skilter and added a Rena XP4 (too good a deal to pass up

) and I have not gotten ANY Skimmate since. Is possible that the xp4 is that Good/Strong

? Or is My Skilter on the frits again

The stuff that protein skimmers extract from the water is not the kind of stuff that other types of filtration removes. Given the track record of most Skilters... I'd say it's your skimmer.
