No Formalin :P

I am now very concerned about the use of formalin for treatment. Just a few minutes ago I spilled at least a half cup all over my legs and the floor.

yeaaaaaaaaaaooooooooooooouch!!!! My eyes are still watering, but my legs seems to be okay, however, as soon as the formalin spilled the skin began to burn. I rinsed it off with soap and water...but it still tingles. My reaction to a half cup of this stuff makes me wonder how a few drops would effect a little seahorse. Man...swimming in this stuff for ten days?

what you spilled on yourself was consintrated it has a whole diferent effect when diluted. take hydrogen peroxide for instance at 3 percent solution u can rinse your mouth out with the stuff but at 50 percent a few drops on your skin and u get tattooed for a month. anyhow formalin is 37 percent fermeldihyde wich infact kills cell tissue
