I had an outbreak of Ich in my reef tank when I added a yellow tang that stupid me didnt QT
I will never do that again
. So he gave it to my blue tang and couldnt catch him in my DT so I went to my local Reef store and they said they use No Ich in their 400G reef tank and it works. So I tried it and followed the instructions and its been 4wks since I've seen the ich and my blue tang looks great and the other fish have not even got a hint of ich. However I QT'd my yellow tang (he had black Ich) and did the Formalin dips for 4 tx every other day and he developed Velvet and didnt notice it when I put him back in the DT and he infected my clown. When I noticed it I took them out right away and started copper tx, but it was to late...both dead in 24-36hrs.
So long story short I was amazed that the No Ich reef safe worked. I had my doubts but it worked
