No impact reef tank?

I’m coming back into this hobby because I have done preliminary research that indicated it was possible to have a environmentally sound tank that has minimal impact on the environment. The reality is not as easy…
Can someone point me to a solid source to setting up a no-impact reef? MY LFS is not so helpful and I can't seem to find a good single source on line…

Yes - that's exactly what I'm talking about. It seems that corals are one of the easiest captive raised (grown) items to source --- Im having trouble finding good (and inexpensive) rock.
