no luck w yellow mushroom leather

order a yellow 2 weeks ago. upon arriving, it had some brown stuff on it already. after a week, brown stuff seems to hv spread throughout the yellow leather. took it out yesterday to qt it. today it died. r they that delicate? i know they ship poorly. anything i should hv done once receiving it?

No, if it is one of the tonga yellow leathers, they are extremely difficult to keep. They need very intense light, strong water flow, and very good water quality.

must be that one bc i am able to keep all kinds leathers and sps in my tank. guess got damaged during shipping.

It does not matter if it got damaged during shipping or not. You may be able to keep all kinds of fish, but if you were to try something like a sweetlips (a hard to keep fish), you probably would not be successful. The same applies here. It is a tough coral to keep, just like gonipora is.
