No Luck with Chromis's

To All
I am fairly new to salt, but I have had good luck with all my livestock except Chromis's. I'm 2 for 2 with Clowns, I'm 2 for 3 with dartfish, I'm 6 for 6 with featherdusters, I'm 3 for 3 with cleaner shrimp, and 2 for 3 with button polyps, but I have been attempting to develop a school of chromis's and they only last between 1 to 30 days before they die. I thought Chromis's were fairly hardy? Does anyone have any ideas as to what i'm doing wrong.
My tank is 125 gallons, but I put them in a 30 gallon tank for 2 weeks, before I transfer them. Some of them last the two weeks, but then die in my big tank.
They are not picked on in either tank.
Both tanks have a Ph of 8.2 and Nitrate, nitrite, ammonia are 0
Thanks
Matt

Green Chromis? They are normally hardy fish. Very agressive towards each other. How many are you trying to add? Which type clowns do you have because that is the only thing that could be going at them? Chromis do better in odd numbers and I recommend they all be the same size. Is there much of a difference between the parameters of both tanks? Are you acclimating them to the DT before you put them in?

Try keeping a odd number of them, also what kind of clowns? Clowns can be very aggressive towards your chromis, I started with 6 chromis now after 8 months I only have 3 left. Before you put them in your DT accclimation should be no less than 2 hours.
