well after allot of negativity and arguing about things that had nothing 2 do with the tread there were some good points made and some bad ones all in all my blueface kicked the crap out of the clown and i thought in the best interest of the clown t esp.+everyone in the tank to bring him back to lfs no more fish will b added 2 my tank also my wet/dry filter +skimmer are rated 4 a tank over 300gls so i have very healthy water and i completely love my fish they get spoiled rotten I'd much rather watch my fish swim and do cool nat. things than watch tv witch is what most of America does when they get home from work sorry if my post(experiment)angered any one i meant no harm esp. 2 my fish!!!!!!!

You really did do the right thing . Eventually the clown would have gotten bigger and it would have snapped and gone on a killing spree . You did the smart thing.

yah at my lfs there is a 4" clown that attacks the glass when you go up to it. he would make a great species tank. i don't want to make my community tank a species though. lol

not to make it negative i have seen an 8" with a 6" black and they were doing fine. its all in the head of the fish. some are bullys and some are not.
the 8" clown was pretty sweet.

But; clown triggers have a well deserved reputation of going from nice guy to savage butcher overnight...even after years. This is simply the genetic nature of these beautiful fish.
