No protien skimmer?

My Seaclone skimmer started leaking so i took it off the tank, and ordered a Aquac RemoraC skimmer off ----. It wont be here for alittle over a week. Will my tank be ok with out the skimmer for a week or 2?
Anything i can do in the mean time?

It will probably be fine, maybe just do an extra waterchange if it takes 2 weeks.

yes you should be fine just maby do one water change while your waiting for your new skimmer!!

Thanks for your help, my seaclone never produced much "gunk" in the chamber, hopefully this Aquac Remora skimmer does a much better job.

IME Seaclone is one of the worst skimmers out there for what it costs. I have had my Remora for about 3+ years now and it still skims like a dream.

That's funny you mentioned that cause I was thinking if you had a seaclone you were pretty much skimmerless anyway.
(And for all the seaclone success stories, I know, I know... Some work great! But if this person is upgrading, then obviously their's didn't.)
