No water to fuge

Because it is all falling into the pipe that leads to the skimmer first. Add a vavle to that line and turn/close it off some in order to divert some of it over to the fuge.

Really that kinda stinks I just glued most of it in to I guess the bottom piece I left with no glue. I never had that problem on tanks in the past.... O well any other way to maybe to it?

It looks like you are running inch and a half pipe which has pretty significant drain capacity. Unless you redo the plumbing all together then that is probably the easiest and cheapest way. If you can get your hands on a set of pvc cutters that will cut that size pipe it will make life easier than having to saw it.

well the bottom piece is not glued yet so i may just put it in there.. Another thought I am running a flow accelerator on the return on that side right in front of the overflow.... Maybe i could move that to the other side and see if i get more flow through the overflow to fill the pipe some more. These flow accelerators are crazy. I have it 3 in below the water line and it is blowing sand around on the other side of the tank.
The Flow Accelerator

The Water Above it

The other end of the tank..
Pictures don't really do it justice, but i do have a second one coming tomorrow and i am not sure if i will use it because this one is almost to much.

IMO moving your flow accelerator wont do much for getting more water to drain into your overflow. The pump determines how much is pumped in which is equal to how much is drained out. The flow accelerator just creates a small amount of back pressure on the return flow which causes it to shoot out at a slightly higher velocity.
What size is your tank if I may ask, and what size pump are you using?
Honestly, I think the valve is your best bet. Pretty much everybody who has a sump set up with the fuge and skimmer lines split have to rely on valves to get the control that they're after.

I agree that i will need another valve in there but i did move my return to the other side and now i get a slow slow flow of water. I have a mag either 12 or 9.5 can't remember that i am using for return. I understand the flow thing works it also sucks water in and injects it in the stream of water you have coming out to move more water. it was just pushing all the water away from that area. but i will get a valve tomorrow. thank you
