Time to get rid of the condy.
I really can't stand the fact that they sell them anyway. Remember that the condylactis is not regarded as a hosting anemone anyway. I imagine that the male clown was stung and simply became a meal. That would be grounds for dismissal in my tank right there.
Sorry it happend to you, I'm sure your not the first nor will you be the last.
Find yourself a nice tank raised BTA.

Even though he is thinking about givin up the BTA's he is still recomending them!!!

I also have a condi with my clowns but the anemone was alot smaller than the clowns when I got it. I really didn't plan on the clowns being hosted by the condi, and I bought the condi as a project for myself to see if I could keep one. About 2x bigger now and could probably eat the male GSM now if it really wanted to. In fact I wouldn't recommend condilactus anemones to anyone who has fish that could fit in it's mouth, they have a strong sting and will stick to just about anything in range of it's arms.
