ahh i wish i knew, the moter connects on the bottom, i know it has the name sea on it, i would look but im at work

Make sure the motor is seated correctly (most have o-rings to keep water from leaking) and the shaft on the impeller is seated completely as well. It is very rare for a shaft/impeller to go bad, so it is most likely just inserted incorrectly.

I have the same one. As said before, make sure the motor is seated, the tube is inserted correctly (must be installed at an angle then twisted strait to seat correctly), and that you have the air tube cunnected to the siphon start

on the far left not the one to the right. (You must put water in the reaction chamber as well). These are great skimmers. I am sure it is just a misaligned part or lack of water in the reaction chamber.

okay i think i didnt move the tube isnt at an angle, i will go home and check, yes i have the cyphen tube on the left. So i need to fill up the chanber with water first, whn i first hooked it up it did it on its own i think. SO you know anything about fuge systems to grow copepods in?

Yep, You can get the small, hang-on or in veriety, but I do not recommend them. To truly have a fuge you have to have an overflow system with a sump connected to the fuge with return pumps. I guess what I am tring to say is that if you are currently running a canister filter you will have to be prepared for an entire system makeover ... if you want to do it correctly.
My 150Gal reef has a 45 gal sump/fuge combo in the garage that accepts water overflow piped through the wall and then is returned back through the wall to the tank. What size tank are you running? (My example is relitive to my size tank and would be "nice" for your tank, but unnessisary)

The tube is inserted at about the 4'oclock angle if you are looking at the skimmer from above from the front of the tank with the skimmer hanging on the rear. Wiggle it and make sure it seats then twist clockwise to the 6 o'clock position. DONE ***)

I have a prizm pro deluxe. the motor broke away from the magnet so it was spinning, but with no torque. take a look at the white plastic on the motor, and see if it spins freely. If it does you'll need to superglue the white part back to the magnet. It worked for me, took a while to figure out this was the problem. Hope this helps.

pull the magnetic sleeve out completely. once you've done that can you spin the impeller freely with your hand while holding on to the magnet?

super glue my friend. you'll be superglueing the actual magnetic body to the white seat of the impellar. Do a solid bead around it and squeeze it together. Let it dry for a while after that you'll be back in business.

really, humm, Why does that happen? So the white spinner is attatched to a shaft below it, but i can compleatly pull it out. Thats weird
