icecap fans are very loud
go to alliedelectronics.com and look up orion brand fans, I have 4 of the 50CFM 28dB fans in my canopy, I think the Icecap fans get up to 45dB apiece and much more expensive.

Get the 6" fans from Radio Shack, then put them on an adapter with multiple voltage settings, and turn it up to your desired voltage/speed/sound level.

I run a pair of 4" PFO fans...I'm not into the high tech sound level stuff...but the 2 I run don't bother me. I've heard Icecap fans and I believe mine are much quieter.

From what I've heard (seen em in person so I heard em) The IC fans do the best job and make less noise.

They work just fine, besides what does salt water have to do with circulating air?

Try to keep the db below 26db on the fans that you choose. Otherwise you may get complaints from others in the household.
Panaflo makes some very quite fans. The L1a's are super quiet and move the air pretty good. But you will have to find them in 110v. Unless you want to use a 12v transformer. The Egay ones have the transformer attached for running at 12v. However the ones there seem like they may be a bit noisy from the specs. I'd make (and will be), the same thing but using the Panaflo L1a's.
Here is a link where you can get a really good deal on the fans (Panaflo L1a):
