Noisy HOB overflow

Any suggestions how to quiet a HOB overflow?
Tried a standpipe, but I don't have enough room in my box.....

Increase the size of the drain pipe or tubing. For example, if the overflow drains through an 1" bulkhead, connect a 1 1/2" pipe for the drain instead of a 1".

I found this modification for a Durso standpipe. Hope to try it out tomorrow.

Give the Stockman standpipe a try. I've never used one, as I've been lucky and all of my HOB overflows have been almost silent, but have heard great success stories about them.
