Noisy...What would you do?

My overflow box is noisy and I looked at the dorso standpipes but due to the fact that it is and external one, I don't have the room, even if I drill on the side of the overflow. It's a Amiracle 600 gph...So, I've attached a photo of what my overflow looks like and would love suggestions of what I can do.

build a cover for your box top. thats what I did here's a pic.

I used a prefilter from a mag 9.5 filter, hope this answers your question

The stockman standpipe is what you would use on the ext. overflow. I believe the info for stockman is on the durso site. Or, do a search for stockman. Also, the Hofer Gurgle Buster (again you can do a search) works very well if you are not maxing out the overflow.
