just to clarify the ocean nutrition percentages are per volume (by weight) and the Eden nori values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet not by weight so comparing them as equal mesurements doesnt work.

I credit Riboflavin as being the #1 reason my tank looks so good.

I wonder if the label differences are because one is for human consumption and one is not. Laws may be different as to how the products are labeled. I'm sure fish food ingrediant labeling aren't quite as firm as people food. I bet they are the same stuff. Just an opinion of course.

they are almost exactly the same about the only difference is the food for human consumption is supposed to have higher quality controls, because its for human consumption, if you read the labels on over half the products you use in your tank you will see lots of them say "for ornamental fish only, not for fish intended for human consumption"

I don't know if this helps but I have been using nori and seaweeds bought from japanese groceries for over two years. I have 5 tangs all healthy buggers. I buy "roasted", but don't buy them if they say anything else which suggests they are prepared in any other way than simply roasted or dried. You can get tons for cheap in the japanese groceries.....sometimes I steal some for myself, and put it in soups etc....but my tangs don't know this.
