I just got a new maxima from SWF today. It would not stay any where I put it until it was pretty much north south oriented...Just wondered if any one had noticed this. The clam is beautiful and much larger than 1.5 they advertised.

They can jump (not literally) off rock or a ledge if they don't like where they are. As long as they don't get too much current they should be happy. Just make sure they have room to grow and once they attach to rock, count on them staying there.

You also wanna make sure that the outcurrent siphon (little thing that looks like a chimney) is never below the incurrent siphon (mouth on the front).
