JIDDAH, Saudi Arabia — Former Vice President Al Gore told a mainly Saudi audience on Sunday that the U.S. government committed "terrible abuses" against Arabs after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and that most Americans did not support such treatment.
Gore said Arabs had been "indiscriminately rounded up" and held in "unforgivable" conditions..... (Taken from Fox News webpage)

I certainly am all for Freedom of speech, but saying this right now surely won't help the racial tensions throughout the world. (Even though "unforgivable conditions" is a bit of a stretch...)

Good question...
I don't have all the answers, obviously, but treating all men, women equal would be a great start.
I don't know... my point in posting that article is that right now travelling to the Middle East and talking about "alleged" bad treatment of muslims from a former VP of the US is pouring fuel on a bonfire...

AGREED.
Just think if we had a female president. You think the muslim radicals would listen to her orders? (not that they listen to anyone now)

Cheney should have been aware of what was going on around him. As a gun owner I lost a little respect for him over this.
Now...back to the topic...

Help racial tensions?
If it was up to them We would be marching into concetration camps and be thrown into furnaces. and thier is nothing we can do to change that, unless we where able to rewrite the Koran. The Koran is quite specific on how to handle the Infidel. The only way to prevent this is to be activly fighting tereoists and radical regimes and not making any apologies for this.
