Not mechanically inclined.

I need help. I'm a girl and have no mechanical inclination whatsoever and I am the only one working on my tank. Can anybody give me ( in terms I can understand) a list of what I need to do my tank up right by myself? I have a 125 gal tank, lots of lr and ls (5").
For the mechanics....I have 2 emperor 400's in the tank and that's all I have, other than 2 heaters. My lights are 2- 30 watt flourescents. I want to have some corals one day.
Now remember, I have no idea how to hook up anything that's not aleady set up and ready to go. Are there such products out there? For mechanically handicapped women? LOL

If you are going to want to have corals in your tank you are going to have to get new lights. If I was you I would buy an already made light strip weither it be 4 96 watt powercompact. Or Power compacts mixed with metal halidide.
For your filter I would get a wet dry filter and a good protein skimmer. Check my profile and you will see what you are going to need at the least. You do not have to go with such a big wet dry filter but I go bigger just te be safe.
If you go that way it is real easy to set up the equipment it has directions step by step on how to set it up with diagrams. When you get the equipment e-mail me and i will help you step by step if you have any problems. I hope this helps.
