O.K. i bought frags from someone on here. Not giving names.Just want some advice.I've never been in this situation before. They packaged them wrong. No heatpack and it had been in the 30's.So all the corals are dead. They offered to replace them but i would have to pay the $20+ shipping again or only refund the $$ minus shipping.I could understand this.If they packaged them properly and they still died but they didn't.They botched the shipping and everything died.So how should i handle this?I really am only posting for advice?

Sounds like one of those live and learn situations, when you are getting stuff shipped in the future make sure you communicate to the shipper the need for heat/cold packs and the weather there, this time you will probably have to repay the shipping, those costs no one gets back, maybe they will split them with you. Unless you specifically discussed the shipping and he botched it, then he should pay all or refund your money.

If you paid for shipping seperately like corals were $50.00 then shipping $20.00 so total bill was $70.00 they should refund your $50.00 or ship new corals if you pay the shipping cost. They should not deduct the shipping price unless it was included in the cost of the coral price. Also did you communicate to them that you needed a heat pack??
