Not sure if this is normal

Hey!! Just picked up myself a skimmer today for my 20 gal tank. Its and internal mini skimmer from AquaticLife. Question is, do new ones always make tons of micro bubbles at first, and will it settle down after a few days? Tank isn't much to look at but am gonna put a pic up aswell so you can see.. Let me know, Thanks alot!!!

you might need to adjust something.
I dont think its normal for them to produce microbubbles since bubbles can kill fish (so I've read).
But then again I dont have a skimmer on my 10g so I dont really know.

Welcome to the nightmare of skimmers...no it is NOT normal..it is a pain in the back side to adjust, but take a deep breath and try different things to stop it.
