Came 3 days ago from SWF.com as a 'mystery' coral.
1st pic below was when it got here
2nd was yesterday, it was upright with tenticles out, beautiful
3rd is today, it's slumped over and withery looking but the tenticles are out.
The ballasts for my nano cube dx blew out on me.
I went out and bought a corallife 96w strip bulb for corals, along with another light on them, 13w flourescent. The bubble coral I got looks amazing, as do my rhicordea's so I'm just wondering if this is dying?
What can I do here?
I'm new to corals, if you couldn't tell
Also, as I think you can see from the pictures, it came tied to a rock with string, not sure if this is causing some of the problem? Appreciate the help..thanks

I don't think it is dying because of the polyp extension that I see in PIC 3. From time to time my leather toadstool will slump over like that for a few days. Take a good look at the stalk to see if any part of it is rotting away.
The string may have been placed on there so it could attach to the rock it came on. After a week or two the leather will it attach itself to the rock and the string can be removed IF
that is why it is on there.
