Not sure if Zooanthids are dying.

I don't understand. Almost a week and a half ago, I noticed I had a Green Emerald Crab inside my Zooanthid colony that I bought and I wanted to get him out due to the fact that I have had a bad experience with GEC's. So I took the colony out and set it on a counter to remove the crab. I was very careful not to damage any of the zoo's. I removed it and placed the colony back in the water. It couldn't have been more than five minutes out of the water. Now, all my Neon Green Zoo's are completely inside and the opening has sort of coned off. But the wierd thing is, all the brown and blue zoo's are out every day. I only have a Kenya tree, Xenia, and Zoo's. Kenya very good, Xenia taking a fall, and my other Zoo frags are open each day. My parameters are good. Checked em all yesterday. I just dont get it.

check for spiders/do a dip and leave them alone for a few days. zoas are tough. they should be fine. are they visibly deteriorating? (melting, skirts falling off, etc?)

They visibly seem fine. No parasites or anything of that sort crawling on them. I dont understand how the brown and blue are out but all the green are enclosed. How would I go about doing a "dip"?
