Not sure where to put this but I have a decorator crab question

I have a spider decorator crab and I just saw it perched up on the glass and its underside was swollen big. Then as I looked closer it looked like it was eggs it had. Could that be?

It could be, crabs do carry their eggs under them I believe. I know pom-pom crabs do. Not likely that any will survive though.

what other fish do you have in your tank ... that will be the deciding factor on whether or not the crab babies live ... since they are definetly crab eggs

I have no fish in that tank. I have a flame hawk that's about to be put back in. he was in qt because of an ich outbreak. But that's it.

well ..in that case .. the eggs might live .. since the angel won't be established enough to eat the eggs .. I guess it depends on when the eggs hatche .. the sooner the better . unless you don't want them to live ...
