NOTSOLFS trip postponed

Well....the guy from my NOTSOLFS called me today.....his reef tank is not ready yet, and he asked if I caoould postpone my trip for a week ...I was gonna bring him some frags....
SIGHHHHH....so looks like we will go next Friday.....I guess it's a good thing....this way I have more time to get more stuff...so far I have an elkhorn monti, a teen orange digitata, a piece of leather tree
I just cut tonight 2 small red mushrooms, and a brown paly.....I really need to cut more off the leather tree, but I can't reach it....I have to wait for my husbands help
also the zoas I was gonna cut, I can not reach them either

Wish I was close enough to help..... I have freakishly long ape-arms.

How "close" is this not-so-lfs? Are we talking day trip, half day trip.....or sleep over at the motel 6??

LOL....it's not THAT far...it's 90 miles one way....BUT that means dinner at Red Lobster or the Outback too...LOL
I wish you were too....LOL...I would love for some outside help and opinions....

i drove about 110 miles today to a fish store online that said they had sps colonies, to find out they had about 150 pretty small frags. so i bought nothing and came home and ordered! thats twice in about 2 months that has happened to me! i try to check out all the stores within 1 1/2 to 2 hours from me and they still all suck

That's why I order too.....OH I'm happy with my online source (SWF) But I would love to be able to window shop too.....know what I mean

I have only ordered once from my LFS and thats the leather in my avatar. All other times ive gone to my LFS for livestock and rock. I have always had a LFS within atleast 30 minutes away.
When i lived in virginia in the DC area there was a small LFS about 30 min away, another small one 40 min away, or there was the option to drive an hour for a really big LFS with all the goodies. But then the small LFS closed down and turned into a beuty (i suck at spelling) shop, so i had 2 options.
Now i live in colorado and i have only 1 LFS to go to that is small, but has EVERYTHING
I live like 20 second walking distance from a shopping center and my hopes and dreams are a store will close down and they will turn it into a LFS. Ive always wanted to walk 20 seconds to a fish store

i would be broke and divorced very quick!!!! lol and i finally found a site last night meow that sells wysiwyg sps colonies so i bought 4 sps and an elegance i will start thread and get pics when they come tuesday

WELL.....It is not happening this weekend either
It seems my NOTSOLFS still has not been able to put together another tank

I'm beginning to doubt this will ever happen.....so now what
I need (or want) a few specific pieces of live rock...some to set bottom corals on (you know...under the sand for a base) I'm not gonna order 50lbs of rock for that
