NOVA Extreme - New Lights?

I just purchased a 24" NOVA T5 Extreme light system. It has 4 x 24 watt lighting. I have read the stock lights are not that great. What are some suggested lights to keep pretty much anything and get good coraline algae growth?

The nova extreme pro is decent for the price but their are better for 10 dollars more like the one I pointed out first.

I am looking for actual bulbs for the NOVA. What maker and what actinic for each bulb?

Try a UVL Aquasun, an ATI blue plus, an ATI actinic 03, and an ATI aquablue special. That mix should be a little bit more on the blue side.

even with good lamps the nova with out individual reflectors does not put out a lot of light.I have the nova and tec 4 lamp fixture and there is no comparing the 2.I have not seen the new nova pro so I cant say,but the plain nova is no better than a pc fixture so spending alot on new lamps wont help that much
