I just bought a 48 in nova t5 extreeme light... my question is
do i have to keep the fan plugged in all the time because its really loud. or can i just keep the lights on
I have the same lights..If I am watching TV or something and i dont want to hear the fan i shut it off. In the summer i had to keep it on all the time cause it was too hot in my apt. As long as your tank isnt getting too hot i dont think its a problem to keep it off sometimes.
if you wanted to make it quiter you could pull the light apart and swap out the fan with a quiter version that pulls more air in. thats what i plan on doing this weekend. i have had my light for 2 days and that fan is way to loud. so im swaping it out.
