Nova Extreme T-5

I was looking at the 48'' Nova Extreme T-5 lights with 8-54 watt bulbs and moon lights. I have a 75 gallon tank and was wondering if this would be enough light to eventually support SPS?

Also, does anyone have any experience with these? Or have an opinion on how good of quality they are in general?

I have the 48" 6x 56 nova extreme pro. IMO T-5s arent worth getting if you don't get the individual refelctors. I have a 90 gallon and I have a montipora digitata up high in my tank.
With a 75 gallon and 2 extra lights I would think you would be good to go.
just make sure to get the pro model.

Thanks so much, I feel like I had done all the research, but I still feel better when I get a personal go ahead

What is it that makes the SLR better than the regular lights? Is not getting SLR a complete waste of money?

The Nova Pros have a cheesey reflector system that is better than just a single flat one but doesn't match a good parabolic reflector.
A friend just tested PAR on his 4x54 watt Ice Cap retro. The endcaps are mounted on a flat sheet that is polished and reflects a lot of light. With the lamps installed he got PAR of 140 or so over his 75. When he installed the Ice Cap reflectors the number went to 220. Good reflectors make a world of difference.
