I have a 30g tank with all my parameters at normal levels. I put a zebra damsel and a blue damsel over the weekend. They seem to be doing great for the weekend. I noticed last night that my blue damsel did not come out to eat. This morning the blue damsel is lieing on its side at the bottom of the tank, but the zebra is doing well I dont understand what could be wrong if one fish is doing well and the other is almost dieing.

how old is your tank? I'm guessing that it's not established. Also should list each parameter since what is normal to you might not be normal to the fish you are putting in which, evidently, was the case here. not trying to be harsh, but your fish are dead for a reason. just trying to figure it out.

The tank is about 1 month old. These are the first fishes ive put in the tank. Before I put these fishes in my tank my ph-8.3, ammonia-0, and nitrate-0 water temp 78-79, salt level in the water is between .022 and .023. I used water filtered through and RO system. I had the filter running for the entire month. A buddy had mentioned that the fish could've got stressed. Im not sure though. :notsure:
