I bought some red bone grass about 5 months ago and it had some hitch hikers on it. Notably a blue tuxedo urchin, bristleworm, and this nudibranch. They were all tiny but have grown a lot in the last five months. The nudibranch used to come out only at night and I thought it died 2 months ago when I lost power. In march, it was less than a quarter of an inch long. Then it showed up out of know where about an hour ago and its longer than inch!
I had thought it was a blue velvet nudibranch but now I don't know, can someone help me identify it?

(Yes I have cyano i'm trying to get rid of.

I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. Corals are doing great and no strange disappearances.

Admittedly I do not know what it is. It does not look like a Nudibranch to me. I'd scan through pictures of Bubble Snails to find a match.

Think I may have been able to id it. Here is a link to a similar looking blue nudibranch:

It is known as tambja morosa. From Australia region and feeds on bryozoan colonies?! Which seem to be small invertebrates. Very little information on this species.
Anyway ... thanks for all the help. Hope its not toxic if it dies or something. It's in my 16g nano ... not feeling to good about that.

Maybe it's your picture. I do not see any gills on the creature in your picture.

I didn't notice any gills but that picture was closest to resembling the creature in my tank. The "nudibranch" in my tank had two antenna in the front and a small mound (don't know how to describe it better) of antenna in the back.
