Obama rebuffed Daddy Yankee?

Some of you may know Daddy Yankee (reggaeton musician) recently endorsed McCain. Obama's camp is saying Yankee contacted them first for an endorsement of Obama and the rebuffed him so he endorsed McCain. They stated reasons of his image wasn't good for them.

Yet the following people's endorsement is great for Obama's image.
50 cent
Ludacris
Q-Tip
Master P
Chingy
The Grateful dead
Nicole Ritchie.
Not exactly a group of people that are upstanding citizens or stellar role models. Most of these guys have larger skeleton's than Daddy Yankee.
Hypocrisy? Or a flat out lie from the Obama camp? Either way it shows true colors.

His lyrics are not for youngins'. I can't remember the song name, but it involed adult repations and Obama said his youngest listened.
Otherwise, it's a free country.

I don't buy that. Obama would have been an idiot to turn down the guy.
Just more of the arrogance that is Obama, refusing to admitt mistakes or that everyone really isn't for him.

Q-Tip has good "positive" cred...
50 Cent endorsed Clinton... not sure about the others...
And McCain and he attended a event together where he introduced D Y and they were on stage together...
None of these other guys have... Ludacris is a really positive rapper... does a lot of stuff in the community... has non-profit that helps a lot of people... he made a remark about Hillary in a song that wasn't positive.... so I don't blame
Obama campaign...

Why does it show true colors... maybe for McCain as an opportunist..
I'd stay away from anyone that could be deemed controversial for the last stretch.
Master P is on nickelodeon now.... I'd think would be safe...
Either way Obama has not appeared on stage with any of the above mentioned.. maybe this is what D Y was trying to do... and Obama campaign said thanks but no thanks... upset D Y so he flip flopped

Did you read the article? It said they turned him down for his support because of some of his past. Everyone I listed has a checkered past. And 50 cent endorsed Obama when he became the nominee. So if Daddy Yankee's past was the reason for it, why accept an endorsement from some of these other guys? That is my whole point. It just shows obama camp feeling the need to justify everything. Why bring up that the guy contacted you first but you turned him down for "past" indescretions? He didn't mention the turn down so why bring it up?

Ludacris and 50 IQ have put out some pretty vile lyrics. Still ain't buying Obama would turn this other guy down.

50 backed Clinton.. not Obama.. but this whole endorse thing is stupid because anyone can endorse who they want... these are not people these candidates sought out.... Just like w/ D.Y he wanted to play a roll...Obama campaign declined... McCain saw an opportunity and jumped on... again just like his VP pick.. McCain is simply playing politics

As I stated, 50 supported Hilary first then switched to Obama. How is it I know more about your own candidate than you?
His exact words. "I am Obama till the end now Baby".

All those guys are scum bags but like Rylan said anyone can back who they like. After all, Im sure Alcaida backs Obama also.
