Oceanic 90 Bowfront Lighting Question

I have had my aquarium set up and going now for about 6 years. Some ups....some downs
.....just like everyone I guess.
I have went from VHO to Compact Flourescent (Coralife 2 65w white and 2 65w actnic). I am dissapointed in the lighting of the aquarium with the current setup. It looks ok.....just does not appear bright enough....and even appears to have a green tint to it (I may be dreaming the green part).
I would like to know if anyone is using Metal Halide lighting with their Oceanic bowfront. I believe I would like to go to MH but do not want to spend the $$ if I cannot get the lights to fit correctly. One final comment....I have the original Oceanic canopy in place (took the covers off of course).
I appreciate any and all suggestions!!
Thank you!!

wat do u have in ur tank or wat will u be adding to ur tank(corals)...u can just change out the bulbs if u want a more blue look..higher kelvin rating bulbs should do the trick..its hard to find light fixtures to fit over bowfronts with a flush fit....good luck..

Thanks for the reply!!! Sorry for the delay......work has been crazy.
Well, right now I dont have any coral, etc.....just 6 fish, hermits, peppermint shrimp. I have a lot of live rock (sorry unsure of the exact amount.
My tank just does not appear to be as bright as I would like. I guess I always want mine to look like the ones on display at my LFS (and pics on this site). Can I upgrade the wattage on mine (am not sure)??
I understand the statement about the bow being hard to fit lights, etc. I do not know if I would have went with it now...knowing what I know now...but then again it is very nice to view.
Again, I really appreciate and all replies....I feel stuck on this one.
