anyone here have the oceanic bow front 90gal RR tank setup? i think that is what i am going to go with but i am curious how much a tank, stand and canopy would be. do these setups come with lights or do i need to get them seperatly? thanks.

I have the 72 RR bowfront which is the same as the 90 only not as tall. I love it and think its a great choice. It will cost you more than a standard rectangle shaped one. The 90 will probally cost you $400 or more than the 72.
I paid
Stand 230.00
Cap 100.00
Tank 400.00
Keep in mind with the 90 you'll need more intense lighting, and the cap is only 8 or 9" tall and made of flimsy plastic. I dont think there would be enough height to add MH to it.

thanks shane. anyone else have this tank? as for the lighting what will i need? i plan on starting with a FOWLR but eventually some soft corals. would (2) 250W MH with (2) actinic flourescents
be ok to do this? i really dont want to have to buy another light when i decide to get some soft corals. as for the lights do i just buy a retro kit and attach it to the inside of the canopy? i was looking on hellolights webpage but couldnt get any real answers. thanks.

My 72 is an Oceanic.
The problem with the canopy and MH is the height. Most people recommend that MH be at least 8-10" above the water surface. If you use the canopy they would be like from 6" which may be a problem. You may have to build a custom canopy. Hellolights is a good source. I use VHO, and its a FO so I cant give you much info on fitting some in there.

It may say Oceanic but it is made by All Glass. They are both the same company but their quality and qraftmanship are different. If you are going to buy a 72 Bow Front I recomend bying the All Glass because it will be the same tank but a different price.

Nope its a different tank. Same company, but different specifications.
The overflow is way different and the look is different. The stands are different, and you can not buy a cap from ALL-Glass.

It has a larger opening in the back, but would require youto drain the tank if you wanted to change it out.
