Oceanic Salt Bad?!?

I read a post on another board that was claiming that Oceanic salt was causing his HA outbreak? I recently switched to Oceanic and am fighting a never ending battle with HA.
Has anyone else experienced this or any other issue with Oceanic? Is it even possible?
My corraline has really taken off since I switched and I really hate to switch back to IO.

I have used that salt for more than seven years. The only time I ever had HA was when my phosphates were high. What are your phosphate levels?

Not saying that there isn't anything wrong with any type of salt, but I have had hair algea outbreak, but the water changes that I have done with Oceanic have relieved many of my algae outbreaks.
I have had a severe problem with Instant Ocean before, I had a killer bucket of it, still have it. It ran 95 dKH that killed most of my inverts.
IO seems to bounce around to much....Maybe they all do.
Point is to test your waterchange batch not matter what salt you use.

I was getting an approx .1 reading for PO4 so I installed a PO4 reactor. That was approx 1 month ago. My readings of late have been 0 for PO4, but from what I understand, you can have a 0 reading for PO4 but still have some present. How long does it usually take for a PO4 reactor to adsorb all the bound up PO4?
I thought that my HA had slowed, but lately seems to be picking back up again.
I do like the Oceanic because of the higher CA level, however my alk and pH have been low since I started it, but from what I understand this is normal with the Oceanic salt. Would it hurt to mix a 50/50 mix of IO and Oceanic?
Could a low alk contribute to the HA? Would it be recommended to raise the alk of the water change water with baking/washing soda before using it or should I dose the whole tank?
My pH has been running around 7.9-8.0 and my alk is around 2.0-2.5.
