Anyone seen it yet? Its around 145 gallons or something. One is set up at a local LFS with clip on halides. Very cool. Some people don't like it up close, but I think it is pretty unusual and looks good. Of course, its also pretty expensive. And I think they have a smaller one too?

My good reef buddy got this tank! It is a 144 half circle. The clarity of the glass is amazing. There is no distortions at all. It is beautiful. She got it with 2-3 hundred pounds of LR, LS, a magnificent anenome, sebae anenome, and a rose bubbletip, and a gold bar maroon clown, some snails, protein skimmer, chiller, nice refugium, 2 halide fixtures, and all kinds of other stuff for $800. She got an amazing deal. It was fun to move as well. Lol..

Hi, I am the "reef buddy"... lol. Yep, I picked up this tank from someone getting out of the hobby for dirt, dirt cheap. Mary forgot to include in the list of livestock I got a Banana Eel worth a few hundred dollars. I sold that as well and so far I have managed to recover $600 of the $800 I spent on the tank.
Anyways, I have some pics coming up...

I just got a 144 half circle tank, i had a good price on the tank and could not say no. I got it for 350! i still have to get the stand(or build one) but i was wondering what lighting you guys are using on your tanks, i have 2 175 metal haldie ballasts lying around from my 56 bow front, and i also have 2 400 watts that i have from an old project, i am afraid 2x400 might be a bit of over kill considering its a mixed reef. Think i could get away with 1x400??

You should PM Ladybuy5234 to see what her light configuration is. I know she tinkered with it for a while to get it right. The circle and the braces makes it a challenge.

It is an issue with your join date and number of posts. Basically a security thing. You can't PM immediately after joining, as the board had issues with spamming and "raiding" of members.
