octopus bh300 Opinions wanted

I am looking at replacing my seaclone protein skimmer on my 125 tall and I can get a octopus bh300 protein skimmer for pretty cheap right now is this a decent skimmer is there anything about this skimmer I should take into consideration before I buy it any info would be great

Im not going to be a lot of help to you but i'm looking to use an octopus skimmer on my new tank setup and have only heard good reviews on them....

Yea thats what im reading too, I like to hear a couple bad ones to just so there isnt any surprises like it being really noisey or poorly made or anything

octopus makes good skimmers, but i'd go with hob remora pro.

I just bought the octopus bh300f for my 125 gallon tank. This is the first protein skimmer I have bought. IMO, it was fairly easy to set-up, produces very little noise and skims like a champ. The only hard part I found was queeking the skimmer using the collection container and the surface skimmer piece that secures to the inlet pipe. Once you figure that out, I feel you'll be very happy with it. I love mine. It is huge and does a great job. Any over questions, message me.
