go to coralvue.com and find ur model. it shouldnt be that hard to put together. make asure to clean the sponge often, or it can overflow. i actually took out mine and replaced it with mesh.

Like water falling onto the floor over flow?

What kind of mesh are we talking about?

I just took mine off completely
Be careful putting the little plastic rings on. Too tight, they'll squish and leak...too loose and they'll leak. It's fairly easy to put together pump feeds into the chamber where the cup goes and the output pipe goes from the other chamber to the tank. Good Luck.

one of the worst things ive ever bought, overflowed on to my hardwood floors 3 different times, i still get reminded of it every now and then from the wife, imo get rid of it quick !!!
sorry to gripe, hope you have better luck with it than i did

Mine overflowed once too...set it really dry and you'll be fine imo. If it is too wet and the cup fills completely, it will overflow. I love the skimmer though, it's good at what it does.

as stated above, its best to just get rid of the sponge. once it clogs up, it will overflow onto the floor. other than that, its a nice skimmer for the price.

i think its for breaking up the micro bubbles and the 2 of the overflows happened after removing the sponge so good luck
