Dont live long
Hide all the time
Are only really attractive when angry
Must be kept alone
Mush have very secure lid
You dont really feel a bite and if you did you would be dead before anyone could det any type of medication to help- But....
Then again i think you already know this

so to anwser your question- i guess they are reef safe if you only have corals as the aspect of your reef- no fish or inverts

And as long as you plan on never having to put your hand into the tank for any reason. Personally I try to limit the amount of creatures with neuromuscular paralysing venom in my tank.

one of the most dangerous animals on the planet. what does it matter if they are reef safe? unless you plan on "taking care" of somebody you shouldn't keep one.
