We just got a small Yellow Tang a week ago Friday and she seems to be the friendliest fish ever. She is buddy buddy with my clown couple (5 yr old Ocellaris and a 6mo old male True Percula). They all spend their night in the same corner, all piled up there and during the day when the female clown is separated from the male, the YT stays with the little boy. It's the weirdest thing ever
Is this normal behavior? Just now the evening lights are on and the female clown went to have a bite of the sea weed salad from the clip, the YT stayed next to the male clown and was doing the side-way dance KWIM? The female clown comes back, gently taps the YT on the side and hovers next to the male. I wish I had took video of it.
On a side note, when I got the female clown, her boyfriend had just died and she was kind of down. Next day I went back to the lfs and brought home the 6mo old male. They paired up the same day.
